Dining Room Gallery Wall
Check out this stunning before and after! My client had a large, empty wall in her dining room that was driving her crazy. She was keen on the idea of a gallery wall to give her space some personality and cool factor. Mixing family photos, art and some fun objects give sit a casual, fun vibe.
She had salvaged and painted the little buffet for her previous home and loves it. Since the buffet is a bit too small for her new space, we got creative and balanced it out with gigantic (2’x3′) DIY art on either side, with the help of this tutorial. It was super thrifty, easy and so personal. She chose lyrics from her wedding song (awwww!) and months later they’re still getting compliments on it.
The antique wood crates add some character and weight to assist with balancing out the small buffet, while the succulents and stacked dishes cozy the space up. The stools add extra seating for guests as well as some colour and depth to the vignette.
